Description
        Hedyotis graminifolia L.f. Perennial or annual herb; below woody, terete, up to 30 long, greenish-purple, glabrous. Leaves opposite, decussate, linear-lanceolate, 2 - 2.7 x 02 - 03 cm, decurrent at abse, slightly recurved at margin, acute at apex, glabrous; nerves less; petiole sessile. Stipule revolute. Monochasial cymes, terminal, 2 - 3-branching. Flowers ca. 06 mm across, pinkish; pedicel filiform, 06 mm long, glabrous. Calyx tubular, teeth 4, lobe ovate, 01 mm long, glabrous. Corolla campanulate, tube cylindric, 02 mm long, 4-lobe, oblong, 04 mm long, shortly apiculate at apex, glabrous. Stamens 4; filament united with corolla tube, slender, 2.7 mm long, glabrous; ather exserted, lanceolate, 1.5 mm lomg. Ovary obovoid, 1.5 mm long; 2-loculed; ovules many; style exserated, slender-filiform, 05 mm lomg; stigma longest, 2-lobed. Capsules oblong-elliptic, 3.5 - 05 mm long, glabrous; seeds numerous ovoid, triangular, 0.5 mm long, reticulate, orange.
